Vector is a speed class that is featured in the Wipeout series, debuting in Wipeout 2097. Traditionally, it is the first speed class players will encounter. However, this class was removed in Wipeout Pulse and Wipeout HD/Fury.
Vector Class
Description[]
Vector class is the beginner class. As such, the speed is quite slow to a level where all you need to do is steer and accelerate. Since the learning curve of Wipeout deters some new players, it's a good place to start for new Wipeout players as it provides the basic environment to start off with.
Wipeout 2097[]
This class is available at the start of the game. However, you will be only able to race on the beginner circuits (Talon's Reach and Sagarmatha). Completing the Phantom Challenge will unlock this speed class for the other tracks. The race length in this class is 2 laps.
Wipeout 3[]
This class is available from the start of the game, and is highly recommended for beginners. The race length in this class is 2 laps.
Wipeout Pure[]
This class, along with Venom, is available from the start of the game. Races in this class have 3 laps.
