Overview

Qirex's Quantax Design Model 4 craft has the highest top speed among the craft in the game, on top of being very resistant to weapon impact. However, this comes at the expense of thrust and handling, making it very slow to accelerate and very heavy on the corners. With such a weak thrust force and a sluggish turning radius, getting this thing around the more technical circuits will be a very demanding task, but it won't be much of an issue on the more open circuits. Therefore, this craft is definitely not one to make a mistake in.

Trivia

• The Quantax is the only ship in the game to have a singular engine, whereas the others would have two or even three engines (in the case of the Auricom A.R. 2700 Model B).
• Ironically, despite being namely the fastest ship in the game, the Qirex Quantax has the least powerful engine out of the four ships at 1,700 horsepower.
• Canonically, Kel Solaar, using this ship, has won more pilots' championship titles than all other pilots combined in the F3600 era.
  • This makes this ship one of the few ships in the series known to have won at least one championship in the series' canon.
