The Qirex LS07 is a ship featured in Wipeout Pulse and Wipeout HD. An alternate version with improved thrust appears in the Fury expansion pack.

Description (Wipeout Pulse)

The Russian powerhouse has produced an agile and well-shielded ship whose acceleration is its weakest point. Qirex are rapidly returning to the front of the grid.

Overview

While the Qirex appears somewhat balanced, it has taken a leaf out of the old book and given an emphasis to shielding, making it an effective combat craft. It has a considerable speed and it handles remarkably well, but its main weakness is its sub-par thrust. Getting out of corners and off the line will prove an issue in this craft, but keep it moving and it'll excel everywhere, whether the circuit is a technical one or an open one.

Fury

The Qirex craft has received a considerable upgrade in Fury. The thrusters are now much more powerful, and top speed and handling have been slightly increased.

• This ship in its alternate livery, along with the EG-X FX400 ship, appear on the cover of Wipeout Pulse. On the XMB screen of Wipeout HD (before the Fury expansion), the HD variant is joined with the AG Systems FX350 HD ship.
