The Piranha FX350/400 is a ship featured in Wipeout Pulse and Wipeout HD. An alternate version with improved thrust appears in the Fury expansion pack.

The Piranha can proudly boast the fastest engine in the League, although the Brazilian-controlled outfit sacrificed manoeuvrability and acceleration in the process.

Overview

In their latest craft, Piranha have produced what is claimed to be the engine with the highest top end performance since AG racing returned. And none will deny that in a straight line, the Piranha is unbeatable. Just one look at the stats will tell you that this is a machine built for sheer top-end output, and almost everything else has been an afterthought. Piranha have seen fit to have a high-output shield installed, which may be a saving grace if you don't know how to use airbrakes much. Almost guaranteed to be last off the line, the Piranha will demand you get it up to speed as quickly as possible and keep it there. If you can, there is little that can keep up.

Fury

The Fury upgrade gives the Piranha a much-needed boost in the thrust department, while at the same time making it a little easier to handle, but still challenging enough to control.
