Tim Wright (born 31 July 1967 in Cymau, Flintshire, Wales), known professionally as CoLD SToRAGE, is a Welsh video game music composer best known for his work on Wipeout, Wipeout 2097, and Lemmings. Wright has contributed to the soundtracks of Shadow of the Beast II, Agony, and Colony Wars.
Wright’s career began in the early 1990s, with his first commercial works created using the Amiga computer and featured in computer games published by Psygnosis. He left Sony and Psygnosis in 1997 to develop music creation and sequencing software (including the Music series of PlayStation games), but continued to compose music for a variety of video games and projects.
He also releases original albums and remasters of past releases online through his website and, later, his Bandcamp site.

Part two of the first remaster project of the original Wipeout soundtracks. Includes Wipeout's intro music, the remaining PC / Saturn exclusive tracks from Wipeout 2097, the four interlude songs from Wipeout 2097, and five mostly unrelated bonus tracks. Released on November 2012.
Scratch Pad 1 was written for a Psygnosis Demo Reel and borrows a considerable amount of instrumentation, sounds, and rhythms from Wipeout and Wipeout 2097 songs. The other bonus tracks have no connection to the Wipeout series besides being written around the same time.
Two songs were also included by mistake: a second mix of Kinkong uploaded by error,[1] and God's Gift. God's Gift was a standalone song written around the time of Wipeout 2097, first posted on CoLD SToRAGE's website in 2002 - it was never included in any version of the game.[2] A later update to his website in 2008 erroneously put the song under the Wipeout 2097 (PC Game) download section, causing many fans (and apparently Tim Wright himself) to believe the song actually appeared on the PC version.

A sequel to the second remaster. Includes the three excluded tracks (Tentative, Messij Recieved, and Body Plus) alongside a selection of previously released Wipeout adjacent remixes and original compositions. Four new remixes from contemporary artists round off the collection. Released by Lapsus Records on gold 3xLP, black 3xLP, 2xCD, and digital, with more original tie-in artwork and clothing designs, on November 14, 2025.
Notably, God's Gift is included despite having no connection to the Wipeout series beyond being written around the same time - Tim Wright has misremembered it as being on the PC version of the game since 2008 - and the original mix of Onyx is missing while an alternate mix is included. Scratch Pad 1 was written for a Psygnosis demo reel and shares elements from a number of Wipeout and Wipeout 2097 songs.
