Despite its weight and bulk, the Auricom Speed variant really comes into its own at the top end, while maintaining the durability that Auricom are famous for.
Overview[]
True to form, the Auricom Speed is a very fast AG racer on its own, besides being quite durable, which will certainly help when weapons are being fired and scattered everywhere in the most dangerous of races. On the other hand, the turning radius of this ship leaves much to be desired – its Handling rating stands between those of the Qirex Speed and the Pir-hana Speed – requiring a bit of dexterous airbrake control to cope with the tight corners. Likewise, the Auricom Speed's firepower can be described as average at best, especially with a reduced weapons loadout. Overall, this race package in the right hands could be quite promising in races, and it could also stand a good chance in Combat events should you relish the challenge.
