The Assegai FX350/400 is a ship featured in Wipeout Pulse and Wipeout HD. An alternate version with a slight increase in speed and thrust appears in the Fury expansion pack.

The Assegai's exceptional handling model forms the core of the United African Nations' new ship, which has ably demonstrated solid all-round abilities in other areas.
Overview[]
The Assegai craft in the FX350/400 takes a nod back to its F7200 incarnation in terms of performance. When it comes to navigating a racetrack, nothing can best the Assegai. Decent top speed and thrust combined with excellent handling make it an astonishing all-rounder, especially on the more technical tracks. All this comes at a cost in that the Assegai has somewhat weak shields. You will find yourself frantically absorbing many of the weapons coming your way in a violent race, and you may also have to keep out of combat for as much of the race as possible.
Fury[]
The Fury upgrade gives the craft a small kick in the speed and thrust department, but otherwise leaves the basic setup untouched.
