The Assegai F7200 is a ship featured in Wipeout 3.
Overview[]
The Assegai craft is the ultimate navigation machine. While its speed and thrust are average, nothing can match the Assegai for manoeuvrability. It's extremely agile, with a super-tight turning radius that will help tackle the most technical circuits without even touching the airbrakes. Unfortunately, it has the weakest shields of all the craft (probably due to its thin body), so keep well away from combat and use the hyperthrust very sparingly. Its handling can also backfire on itself in that it can easily oversteer wider corners, so be very light with the controls.

Trivia[]
- It is the only Assegai ship in the whole series where it is an unlockable ship.
- This ship is one of the two ships in the series with an asymmetrically placed cockpit design, the other being the Auricom T-808 ship in Wipeout Fusion.
- In case of the Assegai F7200 ship, the cockpit is placed offset from the chassis.
- This ship is disadvantaged when in the cockpit view as there is a horizontal bar that reduces visibility across the windscreen.
- In Special Edition, the Shield stat for this ship was increased to 2.
