The AG Systems Speed is a ship featured in Wipeout 2048. It is one of the best-controlled ships in the game and one of the most commonly used ships in Speed Lap sessions, especially by most of the players who made it to the Top 10 Players in Speed Lap leaderboards for the faster speed classes.

This ship manages to maintain the agility for which AG Systems are famous, while giving extra attention to top end speed.
Overview[]
Despite its top speed seeming low compared to other Speed ships, the AG Systems Speed is so agile that it's surprisingly fast enough to keep up with its pace in races. So as to say, its impressive manoeuvrability makes for a beautiful cornering capability while maintaining top-end speed in the right hands. But be aware that it is also one of the most fragile ships on the grid, taking damage with extreme ease as in denting soda cans by throwing stones at them – its Health rating is the lowest among the non-Prototype ships. This is not helped by the fact that the AG Systems Speed has a relatively weak weapons power and cannot use heavier weapons. Therefore, it would be best to avoid unnecessary fights while racing. And don't forget to make use of this ship's manoeuvrability to your advantage when the race gets violent.

- On the A+ Class, the AG Systems Speed benefits from a significant bug/oversight – with a Speed rating of 7, the AG Systems Speed is the overall fastest ship on the speed class, with the Pir-Hana Agility providing a close second. All ships with a Speed rating of 8 and up are only as fast on a straight line as this ship, and in the FEISAR Prototype's case, they can even be slower. This bug seems to have remained unfixed in Wipeout Omega Collection, but is not present in all other speed classes.
