The AG Systems FX350/400 is a ship featured in Wipeout Pulse and Wipeout HD. An alternate version with improved speed appears in the Fury expansion pack.

Description (Wipeout Pulse)[]

A resurgent AG Systems have delivered this sleek and evolutionary design from their Japanese HQ, a well-balanced ship whose acceleration is virtually unrivalled.

Overview[]

Favouring agility over raw power, the AG Systems craft is indeed a very nimble AG racer as always. This craft is lacking in the top speed department and does not handle as well as the FEISAR, but makes up for all of that with more powerful thrusters. Getting through corners may be slightly more taxing, but you'll have the advantage getting out of them. You'll also find this craft among the first off the line, giving a good early race advantage. And unlike its predecessor, the shields are quite good, allowing it to endure the longer and more violent races, so long as you can also evade opposition weaponry or minimize collision damage.

Fury[]

The Fury craft has received identical upgrades to the FEISAR. The upgrade has given the new AG Systems craft more power to go faster, and its thrusters are also slightly more powerful, bettered only by the Goteki 45.

Trivia[]

  • In the Alpha Prototype version of Pulse, this ship's stats incorrectly listed its thrust rating as a 9 despite having seven solid vertical strips.
  • Possibly due to a bug causing size inconsistency between Zone ships, this ship's Zone variant in Pulse is tied with the EG-X and the FEISAR for having the largest physical size of all available Zone variants, and every other ship in the game in general.
  • On the XMB screen of Wipeout HD, this ship appears alongside the Qirex FX350. The Fury variant is also shown beside the Harimau FX350 Fury ship when the Fury expansion pack is installed.
    • This ship also appears as the cover/hero ship of Wipeout Merge, both in the app icon and promotional material.
  • The HD variant uses the same chassis as the team's FX300 ship (most notably with the vents on the rear), but with a few minor differences.
    • It is possible that the ship model is directly inspired by the one seen in the intro movie of Wipeout Pure.
